Hello

Kevin Carmichael is based in Greater Boston and has been an avid photographer since taking a darkroom course in high school. Since then, he has worked on a range of media projects including music videos, feature films, and motion capture and virtual reality shoots. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, his symptoms limited his ability to contribute to more physically demanding projects, leading him back to his original creative outlet. Photography has since evolved into a way of documenting how he moves through physical limitations, uncertainty, and change by seeking deeper connection and meaning in the world around him.

 

Kevin's work reflects a belief that meaningful experiences remain possible even when the path forward becomes more difficult. Through photography, he hopes to encourage others facing their own challenges to continue exploring, adapting, and finding beauty in the journey.
