Hello

I'm Kevin Carmichael, a Boston based photographer. I've been an avid photographer since taking a darkroom photography course in high school. Since then, I've worked on a multitude of media projects including music videos, feature films, and motion capture / virtual reality shoots, but I've always been most drawn to photography. I enjoy capturing the silent narratives of everyday life with images that immortalize joy and awaken nostalgia.

Ironically, I have a Deutan color deficiency, which is a type of red-green colorblind. I use this to inspire my more creative work by purposely over saturating those images in a way that dramatizes the content.
